I am an experienced LMSW with many years in the field.  I have the privilege of being the Volunteer/Hotline Coordinator, working with the team of dedicated, caring and committed staff and volunteers who provide a listening ear, support, education, resources and outreach to individuals and families who are coping with a breast cancer diagnosis. I myself am a ten year breast cancer survivor, so I know firsthand how empowering and vital these services are.

I worked for many years as the coordinator of Nassau County’s Small Claims Court Mediation Program, where I trained and supervised a team of volunteer mediators who were essential to the program’s great success. I have also had the opportunity to be a clinician at a FEGS mental health clinic counseling adults, children and families with mental health issues.

Most recently I worked as a Team Leader with Project Hope where I was responsible for training and supervising crisis counselors who provided counseling, support and resources to survivors of Superstorm Sandy.

I am truly fortunate to be involved with this amazing organization.
