What is the worst career advice you’ve received? The problem for me has never been getting/following bad advice. It’s just much more challenging to find really good advice. When you do, it can be priceless.

Which is more important: making money or loving what you do? Call me old fashioned, but I like both.

How much of your day do you spend on social media and what is your favorite platform? 45 minutes. I use Facebook almost exclusively and mostly for business.

What is the most important business trend of the decade? This is above my pay grade, but my eye is always on technological innovation. That seems to be the one constant all business owners need to embrace.

What has been your most embarrassing professional moment and what did you learn from it? Sending emails to the wrong people. In the frenzy of a busy day, be careful before you click send!

What makes a résumé stand out? If you’re applying to my business, be bold and take risks! Classic résumés are terribly boring.

What is the best way to pass time on a long commute? I like to take a moment to breathe and think. That tends to get lost in the shuffle.
