By Diane Dembicki, Ph.D., College of Nursing and Public Health

salmonOne of the top 10 super foods for better health in the Nutrition Action Healthletter published for consumers by the nonprofit Center for Science in the Public Interest (CSPI) is Wild Salmon:  “the omega-3 fats in fatty fish like salmon may help reduce the risk of heart attacks and stroke”.

Check out the note on wild-caught salmon from the Pacific (hint: it’s more sustainable) and visit the Monterey Bay Aquarium Seafood Watch.
