Caitlyn Piccirillo grew up Malverne, New York, a small Long Island village you pass through before you realize you’ve been there. At three years old, her mother took her to see her first Broadway show: Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. It was in that moment, Caitlyn knew she wanted to bring that kind of magic to others. and took every opportunity to learn and grow as a performer. Caitlyn auditioned and received a scholarship to study at the University of the Arts, Philadelphia for musical theatre during the summer of her junior year of high school, where her voice began to truly blossom. Since then, Caitlyn has studied voice and has developed a versatile singing range of different musical styles. In addition, Caitlyn is a freelance dramaturg who gets to the nitty-gritty of the research in which she is involved. This past summer, she interned with the New York Innovative Theatre Foundation, working to catalogue their extensive Off-Off Broadway Database. Caitlyn’s analytical skills and training provide a foundation for honesty in performance. She is interested in participating in all forms of theatre as well as film, TV, commercial cruise line and voiceover work.
