Nearly 250 alumni and friends of Adelphi, members of the Ruth S. Harley Society, have made commitments to Adelphi of all sizes through their estate plans. Together, these contributions total tens of millions of dollars. Together, members of the Ruth S. Harley Society are transforming lives and shaping Adelphi’s future for the better.

Each year, Adelphi celebrates the members of this society and their meaningful generosity. On Sunday, March 29, 2015 a special event and performance is being held in their honor. Following the Ruth S. Harley Society Reception in the Multipurpose Room of AUPAC, society members are invited as Adelphi’s guests to the performance Swingtime! Featuring the Jive Aces in the Concert Hall.

About the Ruth S. Harley Society

The Ruth S. Harley Society recognizes and thanks alumni and friends who have arranged a bequest or made planned gifts to the University. Anyone who informs Adelphi that the University is named as the beneficiary of a gift through his or her estate, or through a planned gift during his or her lifetime, is automatically enrolled as a member of the Ruth S. Harley Society.

A growing number of alumni and friends are supporting Adelphi through their estate plans. Everyone, at every income and asset level, can impact Adelphi through planned giving. In fact, a planned gift can often help you make a more significant gift than you might have otherwise imagined.
