Secret Service Cryptographer Visits Adelphi

U.S. Secret Service Special Agent Douglas Barnette, who works as a cryptography and cyber security agent, presented a guest lecture in Dr. Kees Leune’s Computer Security class at Adelphi University.

Adelphi students and staff were in attendance to learn about the cutting-edge security technologies and methodologies available for IT professionals in many fields.

The Department of Information Technology and the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science will host a cyber security symposium with identity theft experts in April 2013.
