Graduate Study in Sport-Based Youth Development Now Available


The Ruth S. Ammon School of Education offers a specialization in Sport-Based Youth Development to students pursuing one of the following degrees at Adelphi’s Manhattan Center:

Tuition-Free Fellowship in Sport-Based Youth Development

As part of this graduate fellowship, students will earn their degree while also working as a Coach for Wellness in the Schools’ Coach for Kids program. Students in this program will earn their Master’s degree in two years, with all tuition costs covered (up to 18 credits a year).

About the Ruth S. Ammon School of Education

The School of Education prepares teachers, clinicians and professionals through undergraduate and graduate programs in three departments: Curriculum and Instruction, Communication Sciences and Disorders, and Exercise Science, Health Studies, Physical Education and Sport Management. About the Adelphi University Manhattan Center

Adelphi University’s Manhattan Center, at 75 Varick Street on the corner of Varick and Canal Streets, is located in Manhattan’s SoHo neighborhood, where art and commerce commingle. The Center is within quick access of Wall Street and Midtown, and is well served by subways that link students, faculty and administrators to Brooklyn, Queens and the Bronx.
