Announcement

The Office of Information Technology is pleased to welcome the following new additions to our department this fall.

Mark Proto joined IT as a Communications Specialist in November. Mark is an alumnus of Adelphi University and looks forward to furthering his education here. He lives in the Bay Park area of East Rockaway, which suffered serious impact of Hurricane Sandy. Although Mark had to evacuate his home, he has already proved his dedication to Adelphi by starting his job here almost immediately after the storm. As a hobby, Mark likes to go fishing with his brother and enjoys cruises with his family on his brother’s boat.

While working there, he was responsible for the testing and deployment of new hardware and software as well as managing the VMware infrastructure.
