Adelphi has been asked to share a letter from New York State Governor Andrew M. Cuomo.

Dear Member of the Adelphi Community,

Along with all other colleges and universities in New York State, Adelphi has been asked to share this letter from New York State Governor Andrew M. Cuomo. I am pleased to do so, as the values which we hold dear at Adelphi closely mirror those expressed by the Governor.

As members of the Adelphi community, we too “find strength in our differences,” and are certain that our diversity enriches our lives and enhances the educational experience we provide to each of our students.

Governor Cuomo hopes to reach all students in New York State to assure them of the State’s position against incidents and crimes of bias and discrimination, and we wish to provide this same assurance about our Adelphi campus.

Should you have any concerns, or believe that you have experienced any form of bias or discrimination, please contact Rhonnie Jaus, Title IX coordinator and director of equity and compliance at rjaus@adelphi.edu or (516) 877-4819 or Dr. Perry Greene, vice president of diversity and inclusion at greene@adelphi.edu or (516) 877-4041.

My best wishes to you for a wonderful holiday break.

All the best,

dr-riordan-signature

Christine M. Riordan, Ph.D.
President
