Adelphi group sponsors conference for Sikh college students

News

Sikhs United is a campus group that organizes social and educational events promoting peace, equality and unity. Open to all students, the organization sponsored its first-ever Sikhs Collegiate Conference on May 4, an event featuring guest speakers who offered advice on taking leadership roles while retaining a Sikh identity.

The event was held after the University’s 15th Annual Brown and Gold Awards Ceremony, which saw the group win three top awards—Excellence in Programming, President of the Year (Bishal Bangay), and Organization of the Year.
