Adelphi Named a 2018–2019 Career Development College of Distinction

From résumé preparation and interviewing skills to widely recognized initiatives like the Jaggar Community Fellows Program, Adelphi’s Center for Career and Professional Development continues to help students and alumni meet their career goals.

Now Colleges of Distinction has named Adelphi a 2018–2019 Career Development College of Distinction, one of only eight New York institutions on this year’s list.

“The Center for Career and Professional Development is proud and honored to be recognized as a 2018–2019 Career Development College of Distinction,” said Thomas J. Ward Jr. ’93, executive director . “With student success and positive outcomes driving our institutional mission, this national award clearly demonstrates Adelphi University’s steadfast commitment to equipping our students with the lifelong career management skills required to succeed in the jobs of today and tomorrow.”

“We couldn’t be more thrilled, added Steve Everett, D.M.A., provost and executive vice president. “The career center has done a tremendous job of partnering with our faculty and employer partners to ensure our students have great outcomes.”
