The website College Choice has cited Adelphi as one of the country’s most accommodating schools for students with physical disabilities, autism spectrum disorder or learning disabilities.
Adelphi’s constant inclusion efforts will now be enhanced by the new Universal Access Task Force, an action-based group dedicated to breaking down barriers to access inside and outside the classroom. The University recently held a Campus Walk to highlight challenges facing students with disabilities and identify areas where access can be improved.
