Vex Robotics Competition 2016

Students from across Long Island put their robots to the test at the 2016 Vex Robotics Regional Competition.

On Sunday, January 31, 2016, Adelphi University hosted the annual VEX Robotics Regional Competition. The challenge saw middle and high school students from across Long Island competing to test their programming skills against their top-ranked peers for a non-stop, action-packed day of robotics competition.

Twenty-five teams from schools in the region participated in the event. The winning team will participate in the 2016 Vex Worlds competition in Louisville, Kentucky, April 20–23, 2016. This is Adelphi’s third year hosting the competition as part of its STEM community outreach programs.
