A recent article in the Stanford Social Innovation Review
A recent article in the Stanford Social Innovation Review refocuses nonprofit executives on the “timeless fundamentals” of nonprofit management. The article draws from discussions with the first nine recipients of the Henry R. Kravis Prize in Leadership, in 2013. Two important insights emerged from that discussion. First, what allows each Kravis Prize winner to excel is their commitment to one or two mission-driven core competencies. Second, the challenges cited by Kravis Prize leaders are the same ones that virtually every social sector organization faces today.
