Everyone at Adelphi knows President Christine Riordan’s pet bulldog, Georgia, who comes to campus at exam time to help relieve some of the stress students feel. Now many more people know about her and the role she plays, thanks to a May 10 profile on New York City’s PIX11 News. The story was picked up on att.net, spreading the word to an additional audience of more than 2 million people.

Georgia also has her own Instagram account, with more than 500 followers.
