Flu Vaccine Available to Adelphi Students, Faculty and Staff

News, Announcement

The flu vaccine is now available to Adelphi students, faculty and staff.

The vaccine does not contain Thimerosol and is a non-live vaccine.

There is a $15 charge for vaccination. Students may charge the fee to their student account, all others must pay by check made out to Adelphi University. We do not accept cash at the Health Services Center. If you choose to pay by cash or credit card you can pre-pay at the cashiers office in the basement of Levermore and bring your receipt with you to your appointment for proof of payment.

For anyone paying at our office, you will receive a receipt but because we do not bill you may not be reimbursed by insurance or a flex spending account. We offer the vaccine as a courtesy to the campus to make it easily accessible for many.

All vaccines are by appointment only.

Appointment times are:

Monday-Thursday: 7:30 a.m.-9:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.-9:00 p.m.
Fridays: 7:30 a.m.-9:00 a.m. only.

All vaccines are given on the Garden City Campus.

You may call 516.877.6001 or 516.877.6002 to schedule an appointment.
