IT Student Worker of the Month: April 2018

The staff of the Office of Information Technology would like to congratulate Nicholas Gomez as the April 2018 IT Student Worker of the Month.

Nicolas is a Computer Science major graduating next month in the Class of 2018 who works with the Help Desk.

Here are some of the comments we received from IT staff members and other student workers who nominated him:

“As a new worker, Nicolas has helped me out a lot. He trained me and I know he is always available to ask for help. While training, he stressed the importance of keeping everything organized and neat, which greatly helps everyone in the department. Overall he is very helpful and knowledgeable about everything within IT and Adelphi “

“He does a great job for us. He is reliable and handles everything on the weekends for us consistently well.”

“Nick is one of the Help Desk Assistants that covers the early morning and late night hours at the helpdesk. He is skilled at solving technical issues quickly with patience and excellent customer care. Nick was individually recognized by customers with 5-star ratings twice this month.”

“Nick is always going above and beyond. He takes the initiative to work with newer students to assist them in learning what has to be done.”
