IT Student Worker of the Month: April

News, Announcement

IT-Student-Worker-of-the-Month-CertificateThe staff of the Office of Information Technology would like to congratulate

Donald Grupski

Student Worker of the Month for April 2015

Donald has been working in the Office of Information Technology since July 2014 at the IT Help Desk and in the 3D Studio. He is a sophomore majoring in Criminal Justice and minoring in Computer Science, and is a member of Adelphi’s Track Team.

Here are some of the comments we received from IT staff members and other student workers who nominated him:

“Donald is always willing to go above and beyond for his fellow employees. He is quick to listen to what needs to get done and is not afraid to ask questions. He has helped maintain our equipment and is the go to guy when you need paperwork completed. He has taken the time to learn the sometimes confusing system of consultations and he is always around to help you when your hands are tied with other tasks. He is a dependable employee. I want to thank Donald for a job well done and I look forward to having him continue that good work for a few years to come.”

“Donald is a very dependable worker. He gives his best effort when trying to complete tasks and projects he has been assigned. Don does a great job with the work orders and processing projects in the 3d studio. He is an asset to our team.”

“Donald started working at the IT Help Desk in July 2014 as he was entering his sophomore year. Ambitious and confident he took on any task asked of him in any position we needed. This led to him training in and eventually staffing the new 3D studio for its inaugural semester. Donald really enjoys working in the 3D studio and was asked to attend a Career Fair at a local high school to demonstrate 3D printing and design. The event was a success and Donald shared his new found skills and knowledge about 3D with the students of Massapequa High. Thank you Donald for your commitment to working with us in IT.”
