IT Student Worker of the Month: November 2015

The staff of the Office of Information Technology would like to congratulate

Felicia Saucedo

Student Worker of the Month for November 2015

Felicia has been working in the Office of Information Technology since August 2015 as Clerical Assistant for the Office of the CIO. Part of the class of 2016, she is working toward earning a Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders.

Felicia is a member of the National Student Speech Language Hearing Association, and is active in Phi Sigma Sigma, Habitat for Humanity, Hall Council and the Students Activity Board.  For the past four years, Felica has worked as a Counselor for the Rockaway Artist Alliance, an arts-focused summer camp for children ages 5-13. Originally from New Orleans, she enjoys playing volleyball, going for runs, and soaking up the sun on the beach.

While working for IT, she looks forward to learning more about how technology fits into every aspect of Adelphi.

Here are some of the comments we received from IT staff members and other student workers who nominated her:

“Felicia is a dedicated, hard worker, and really knows her stuff! She is very diligent about completing any of the tasks that come her way.”

“Felicia is a hardworking individual who always has a smile on her face. Her contributions to the IT department are worthy of recognition and praise.”

“Felicia is  eager to help others in any way that she can. She works well independently and in groups. She is very friendly and easy to talk to, making the office atmosphere fun and enjoyable. She is a true asset to our team.”

“Felicia is dependable, loyal and eager to help others. Her positive attitude makes her a pleasure to work with.”
