Adelphi’s M.F.A. Program in Creative Writing is launching the Literary Encounters: A Conversation series with an event featuring author Jamaica Kincaid ’12 (Hon.) and poet Lauren K. Alleyne.

This event has been made possible in collaboration with Guernica magazine and the Sackett Street Writers’ Workshop.

The inaugural conversation will be moderated by Sharon Guskin and will take place at the Community Bookstore in Park Slope, Brooklyn.

This free event is open to the public.
