Convenient New Location of Public Safety Department and Command Center

As of Wednesday, January 11, 2017, the Department of Public Safety and Transportation offices and the department’s new command center will be on the first floor of Levermore Hall, in Suite 113.

What does this mean?

A new, state-of-the-art command center will replace the booth that was located outside on the west side of Levermore Hall. With the upgraded command center, we will be able to provide an even higher quality of security and uphold Adelphi’s commitment to remaining one of the safest campuses in the nation.

The command center will be open and accessible 24/7/365. That means that even after business hours, the two main doors on the east and west sides of Levermore Hall will remain unlocked.  In our main office, you will still be able to obtain your Adelphi ID card and parking decals, as well as access the transportation/parking service office.  The main office service hours will remain the same and are posted online. The main office service hours will remain the same and are posted on the Public Safety and Transportation website.

Later this month, we will host an open house for everyone in the Adelphi community to view this innovative new space.
