IT Student Worker of the Month: October 2018


Halle RussoThe staff of the Office of Information Technology would like to congratulate Halle Russo as the October 2018 IT Student Worker of the Month.

Russo is a sophomore majoring in nursing and works for the CIO Group.

Here are some of the comments we received from IT staff members and other student workers who nominated her:

“Halle did a great job training  me. She made me feel very prepared while also making it enjoyable for me. She does a lot of things around the office and has helped me out so much over the last month.”

“We are extremely fortunate to have Halle as part of our IT Team. Halle is dependable, efficient and punctual. She is always willing to take on new responsibilities with her warm, cheerful attitude. Halle has a contagious laugh, which is sure to brighten up anyone’s day.”

Halle is very reliable and a quick learner. She is always very courteous and professional with everyone and is always eager to learn new things.”

About IT’s Employee of the Month Nominations

It is important to demonstrate our appreciation for the contributions of our student workers to their teams, to the Office of Information Technology, and to Adelphi University as a whole. At the end of each month, we will honor one student worker who has demonstrated commitment, leadership, and initiative in their position. The recipient will be presented with a certificate and gift, as well as a featured spot on our IT website.

All IT employees (including student workers) are encouraged to submit nominations for their choice for Student Worker of the Month. Your nominee should display qualities deserving of recognition.
