Students visited New Orleans and Peru to assist communities in need.

Twenty-seven students joined two Adelphi staff members on an alternative winter break in New Orleans where they assisted with ongoing Hurricane Katrina recovery efforts. View the photos on Facebook.

A dozen Adelphi students and two faculty members ventured to Peru to assist with health promotion programs such as the Chincha Baja Project to rebuild an impoverished part of the country that was devastated by a 2007 earthquake and Munaychay, a village for orphaned children, as well as to visit Peru’s famed Aniquem Hospital
