Three Selected to Receive Honorary Degrees at Commencement

Adelphi will hold its 118th Commencement on Monday, May 19 at 10:00 a.m. at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum. The University will award honorary degrees to Jeh Johnson, the U.S. secretary of homeland security and a former Adelphi trustee, Fabiola Milford, D.D.S., a dentist and clinical instructor in the Department of Cariology and Comprehensive Care at New York University, and Edward Villella, a renowned ballet dancer, founder of the Miami City Ballet and currently a board member of the School of American Ballet, the official school of the New York City Ballet.

Ruth (Bronfman) Marcus ’64 will receive the Ruth S. Harley Distinguished Alumni Achievement Award.
