University College: From the Dean’s Desk

News, Newsletter

Dear University College Community:
As we approach another commencement season, we can look back at another successful and eventful year for University College and Adelphi. Last summer, we welcomed Dr. Christine Riordan as the 10th president, and first female president, of Adelphi University. This fall, we saw the continued expansion of our online program offerings and enrollment. This spring, we will once again be hosting the New York State Veterans Mental health conference on campus. In the upcoming summer, we will be offering an expanded set of Pre College Intensive programs under the guidance of our new Director, Jennifer Ganley. And next fall, we will begin to offer the first of our low residency course schedule options for students. As always, University College continues to seek new, innovative, and effective programs and offerings to meet the needs of our non-traditional students.

I hope to see all of our graduates and their friends and family at this spring’s commencement to be held this year at the beautiful Jones Beach Amphitheater!
