Victoria Grinman is an educator, lifelong student, national speaker and integrative practitioner with a passion to contribute positively to others in ways that help facilitate a more connected and integrated experience of self and life overall.

She is a dual-Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Massachusetts and New York, with many years of experience working with clients of all life stages and circumstances in various settings, including a premier school for children with various life and learning perspectives in New York. Grinman received her BA in Psychology and Social Work from Adelphi University and a MSW from Columbia School of Social Work. She is a Certified Family and Trauma Professional as well as a trained instructor in yoga and mindfulness with children and teens, and a certified aromatherapist. She understands the importance of integration of the mind, brain, body and spirit, and weaves these wisdoms into her supportive experiences with people.

Grinman’s current research exploration into experiences of posttraumatic growth in parents of young adult children with autism was born out of over a decade of administrative and clinical experience in program coordination and clinical work with individuals with differences in life perspectives and their families. Her passion to understand and give voice to caregivers came from an understanding that supporting children is inextricably tied to holding space for parents; and that there is a potential for growth beyond coping and resilience that can empower both practitioners and parents to be facilitators and benefactors.

She is the founder of Growing Kind Minds (www.growingkindminds.com), an independent practice based in Massachusetts that aims to cultivate kindness, connect people to resources in their community, and provide needed integrative therapeutic services and educational workshops to individuals, groups and families. She is a lecturer at Boston College School of Social Work and Columbia School of Social Work Online Program.
