Dr. Rosenfeld received his undergraduate degree with Cum Laude honors from Trinity College and his Doctor of Medicine from New York Medical College.

Dr. Warren Rosenfeld received his undergraduate degree with Cum Laude honors from Trinity College and his Doctor of Medicine from New York Medical College. Dr. Rosenfeld completed his pediatric residency at Montefiore Hospital Medical Center in Bronx, New York where he also served as the Chief Resident for Pediatrics.  He then completed his fellowship in neonatal medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City.

Dr. Rosenfeld has been Chairman of the Department of Pediatrics at the Children’s Medical Center at Winthrop University Hospital since 1987.  He was appointed as Professor of Pediatrics to the State University of New York’s Medical College at Stony Brook in 1989.

Dr. Rosenfeld is a Fellow in the American Academy of Pediatrics and is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, New York Perinatal Society, Nassau Pediatric Society, American Thoracic Society, and the Society for Pediatric Research. Further, Dr. Rosenfeld is a Harris Fellow for the Zero to Three Leaders of the 21st Century Leadership Development Project.

Dr. Rosenfeld has lectured internationally and produced over 100 publications in the field of neonatal medicine and authored 12 chapters in pediatric texts.  He has also received numerous grants for pediatric research, residency education, school based health facility development, and primary care program development.

Locally, Dr Rosenfeld is currently serving as a committee member for the Adelphi University Parenting Institute, is on the Board of the Early Years Institute and the Nassau-Suffolk March of Dimes. 

Dr. Rosenfeld resides in the town of Garden City on Long Island with his wife Helene. He is the father of two children as well as a grandfather of three.
