Adelphi University faculty, staff and students have made handcrafted ceramic bowls as part of the larger Empty Bowl Project to support The Interfaith Nutrition Network (INN).The goal of Adelphi’s participation in the Empty Bowls Project has been to raise awareness among Adelphi students that hunger is not only a third world problem, but a problem that exists in many local Long Island communities.

The American Theatre Wing has announced that the 2016 Jonathan Larson Grant recipients are César Alvarez (book, music and lyrics), Nikko Benson (music and lyrics), Carson Kreitzer (book and lyrics), and Sam Salmond (book, music, and lyrics). César Alvarez and Sam Salmond will be performing at AUPAC next season as part of the Larson Legacy Concert Series.
