Mintz holds a Master of Science from Brooklyn College, a Master of Social Work degree from Adelphi University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Hunter University. She is a longstanding member of the Real Estate Board of New York.

Jones Beach State Park director looks back before retiring

Niaren Binford: Spectacular artist

Alumna, artist and teacher Niaren Binford is highlighted for her artistic ability. Having graduated from Adelphi University with her BA in arts and MA in education, she is best known for her drawings of female subjects and draws her inspiration from everyday life and walking through the streets of New York City. Binford created a series called the “Curly Girl Series,” which is inspired by women of color from many walks of life.

40 College Dance Programs Set for Dancewave’s ‘Dancing Through College’ Event in NYC

Adelphi University will participate in Dancewave’s upcoming nationwide event, Dancing Through College & Beyond 2015. Dancing Through College & Beyond is a national event which serves over 300 high school students annually and aims to form personal connections between the current generation of dance professionals and the next. The event also helps students explore college dance opportunities and assists them in navigating the college admissions process.

A Touch Of Youth At South Street Seaport Deepavali
